The series continues directly from where *Justice League* left off, featuring an expanded League that includes the original "founding members" alongside numerous other superheroes from the DC Universe. In the first episode alone, over 50 characters make an appearance. This series introduces many heroes who hadn't been animated before, although some had previously appeared in *Justice League*, *Batman: The Animated Series*, and *Superman: The Animated Series*. Each episode typically involves assembling a small, temporary team to address specific situations, blending action with character development and interactions.
