PLOT

The series is set in Little Tokyo, a mechanical city blending feudal Japanese culture with contemporary elements, inhabited by cybernetic anthropomorphic animals. The city is officially ruled by the eccentric Emperor Fred, but real power is held by the city council and the emperor's daughter, Princess Violet. The council is led by the ambitious Prime Minister Seymour "The Big" Cheese, a scheming rat who seeks to overthrow the Emperor. He is supported by his inept minions: his trusted adviser Jerry Atric and Bad Bird, who commands a squad of ninja crows. Unbeknownst to the prime minister, council member and palace guard commander "Big Al" Dente has discovered his plans but cannot prosecute him for treason due to plausible deniability. Instead, Al Dente recruits Speedy Cerviche, Polly Esther, and Guido Anchovy, three cyborg cat samurai working at a local pizzeria, along with their operator Francine. Known as the Samurai Pizza Cats, they are tasked with thwarting Big Cheese and his henchmen’s schemes to take over Little Tokyo.
