PLOT

After the lion king is killed by hunters, the other jungle animals come together to care for his orphaned cubs, including his favored son, Simba. Simba and his siblings are raised by a wolf and a deer named Buckshot (renamed from Bimbo to avoid copyright issues), who also lost his parents to hunters. It is revealed that the tiger Shere Khan orchestrated the lion king's death to become the ruler of the jungle and now seeks to capture Simba with the help of his minions.
