PLOT
Makoto Misumi is sent to a different planet to meet the goddess and take on the role of the hero as part of a mystery contract that a goddess and his parents made years ago. The deity, however, declares Makoto to be "hideous," forbids him from even looking at him, and revokes his heroic title. Makoto is cruelly driven to the furthest reaches of the wasteland, far from human civilization, by the goddess in return for which she grants him the ability to understand all languages except the human language. Makoto's innate magical and physical talents awaken as a result of the differences between Earth and this new realm, giving him superhuman strength. He encounters a variety of demihumans and legendary creatures, who are all enthralled by his traits and assist Makoto in creating a new village where everyone can live in harmony. But despite his accomplishments, Makoto still longs to interact with others. It is up to Makoto and his friends to satisfy his yearning in a world where the goddess herself has forbidden him from connecting with people of his kind—and possibly change civilization in the process.
